BESTWIRE 2AXES - 2-axes shaping machine

BESTWIRE 2AXES
2-AXES SHAPING MACHINE BESTWIRE 2 AXES

Breton BESTWIRE 2AXES is a machine for shaping blocks and cutting slabs and small blocks.
Versitile multi-functional machine for complex two-axis interpolated shaping, block squaring and slab cutting

Machine structure and mechanisms
The heavy-duty, heat treated arc-welded steel structure ensures the necessary stiffness of the system and cutting precision of the machine.
Two opposite carts, containing the components for the wire motion, slide vertically along the machine columns by means of screw-nut systems.
The wire is rotated by a large diameter driving pulley, which is triggered by belts and inverter controlled asynchronous motor, in order to optimize the wire peripheral speed according to the material to be sawn.
Another large diameter driven pulley is constantly kept under tension by a pneumatic cylinder, thus giving the wire the ideal tension.
The mechanism is completed by two upper, independent driven pulleys and two pairs of wire driving pulleys installed next to the location where the wire goes into, and comes out from, the block to be sawn.

Lubrication
A manually operated lubrication system provides lubricant to the critical points.

Painting
In order to guarantee a high corrosion strength, both structure and components are sand-blasted and then coated first with a zinc-based epoxy primer and lastlywith a second bi-component top coat.

Pulley coating
All pulleys are dressed with special, interchangeable, wear-resistant elastomer pro

Safety measures
A special sensor, connected to the stretching cylinder, detects any possible breakage of the wire and stops the machine instantly.

Automatic adjustment of the wire loweringWhile cutting, the wire deflection is automaticallymanaged by the machine control system, which adjusts the wire down-feed according to the position of the stretching piston.

Two pairs of pulleys (2+2) driving the wire are installed next to the location where the wire goes into, and comes out from, the block to be sawn. Their interpolated motion positions them according to the shapes to be produced, thus ensuring a superb cutting precision.

Pneumatic stretching unit of the diamond wire, with sensors detecting any possible wire breakage.

Motorized block holding trolley with 4 wheels, equipped with motorized, rotating loading platform (optional).
The motorized block holding trolley has four wheels, which are installed on rugged bearings and provided with a special profile acting as a guide along the rails. This system ensure the precise positioning of the trolley and a perfect parallelism of cuts, thus enabling to cut slabs (even thick slabs) with the accuracy typically required by this type of operation. Upon request, the block holding trolley can be supplied complete with a motorized, rotating loading platform.

Electrical cabinet and control panel with  colour monitor.

Programming
The colour touch-screen and user-friendly software ensure simple programming, control of the cutting cycle and management of the working axes. A mobile button panel makes the activation of the main working axes easier for the operator.

Profits are guaranteed using Breton polishing lines!

Good morning,
Today I'd like to show you the composition of a Levibreton KG 4000 PLUS line for polishing granite slabs.

The line starts with a slab automatic loader. This video shows how the loader mod. CAL/S/2000 lifts the slab from the A-frame and takes it to the conveyor at the fore end of the polishing machine.
If there's not much room available or the slabs to be polished are arranged in the "diamond-match" pattern, the automatic loader mod. JOT/S/25/30 may be used instead.
The slab profile and thickness are sensed at the forepart of the Levibreton KG 4000 PLUS polisher.
A reader with photoelectric barrier senses the slab shape with a resolution of 10x10 mm, while a sonar detector registers their thickness.
The system enables to sense without fail even the surface of resin-treated or already polished slabs.

Furthermore, this system guarantees the head automatic operating, beam self-adjustment according to the slab width and automatic positioning of the frontal anti-splash barriers according to the slab thickness.

The polished slabs are conveyed to the waxing machine mod. CGA 200/4, which is provided with a slab reader with photoelectric barrier, automatic adjustment of the beam travel and spindle automatic lifting/lowering.

Once they are waxed, slabs pass under the IMAGEPLUS, a system taking high-resolution photos (which are then filed and coded) of natural and engineered stone slabs, labelling them as well.
Breton IMAGEPLUS features an advanced technology for digitizing images through a linear, high-resolution, industrial camera, and a LED light panel, which are both specially designed to render the true colours of the material.

Before the automatic offloader, Breton unit mod. APP 22/35 applies points or streaks of thermoplastic polymer (whose number, pitch and shape can be pre-set at will) on the polished surface of the slabs in order to protect them when they are stored and/or handled arranged in a pile.
This system offers an alternative to the traditional polyethylene film, with the advantage of removing any possible waste disposal problem and cost.
At the end of the line, the automatic offloader mod. mod. JOT/S/25/30 lifts the slab, placing it on the A-frame.

Thanks to ZUCCHI GRANITE for putting this material at our disposal.

BESTWIRE 2AXES 4WD - Rail-mounted, 2-axes shaping machines

BESTWIRE 2AXES 4WD

RAIL-MOUNTED, 2-AXES SHAPING MACHINES

The BESTWIRE 2AXES 4WD is a machine for shaping blocks and cutting slabs and small blocks, mounted on motorized wheels that slide on rails.

Through the interpolation of the vertical cutting axis and the horizontal axis for the machine movement, it generates profiles such as columns, cornices, components for funerary art and interior decoration cutting a series of blocks placed on the floor.
The structure conception being that of the single-wire machine mod. BESTWIRE moving on motorized wheels, it is provided with special, swivelling wire driving pulleys installed next to the points where the wire gets into, and comes out from, the block, to follow the cutting direction.
Its outfit is complemented by special drives for the axes positioning and a powerful, user-friendly CAD/CAM programming software to be installed on the PC of the customer.

EASY2WIRE - Double-wire machine

EASY2WIRE

THE DOUBLE-WIRE MACHINE
The Breton EASY2WIRE is a machine for cutting slabs and thick slabs by means of two wires, featuring an arc-welded steel structure which is heat treated to ensure the required stiffness of the system and a top cutting precision.
The Breton EASY2WIRE is provided with two 1.000 mm Ø driving pulleys, actuated by an inverter controlled asynchronous motor that optimizes the wire peripheral speed in accordance with the material to be sawn.
Two pairs of driven pulleys with the same diameter are constantly kept under tension by two pneumatic cylinders thus giving the wire an ideal and independent tension.
The assembly is complemented by two additional, independent 1.000 mm Ø driven pulleys and four wire driving pulleys. Extremely user-friendly, the machine is provided with a control console with touch-screen housed in the electric cabinet and a mobile button panel to actuate the main working axes.
The adjustment of the distance between the wires is motorized and actuated from the button panel except for the wire driving units which need to be adjusted manually. The operator has just to check the real distance between the two wires.
